Taste of the Finest benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Metroplex Event Center in Little Rock.

Lance and I would love for you to join us for a fun night out! Throughout the evening there is going to be live music, tastings from a dozen or so delicious local restaurants, complimentary cocktails, wine and beer, a silent auction, and entertainment by the party band, Tragikly White.

Taste of the Finest is one of Little Rock’s premiere young professional events. All funds raised go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation benefiting the 30,000 children and young adults in the U.S. suffering from this life-threatening disease. Since Crosby's diagnosis, Lance and I have been on a crusade to raise as much awareness and money as we can for CF. We want a cure!

At this event, the CF Foundation also honors 25 up-and-comers in the Little Rock area for their success in business, community involvement and support of the Foundation. This year, I am thrilled to have been selected as one of the 2014 Finest Young Professionals.

I have committed to a personal fundraising goal of $5,000.00.

Because CF affects such a small population, it is considered an "orphan disease" and the CF Foundation does not receive any federal funding. The CF Foundation is the world’s leader in research and care for the CF population and relies SOLELY on private donations.

Here is Crosby at his last CF Clinic appointment at ACH. We go monthly.

Lance and I desperately hope that one day we can say that CF stands for "Cure Found”. Until then, we will continue our fundraising efforts and help spread awareness about this awful disease.

Imagine a day when Crosby no longer has a life expectancy of 35. That’s what Taste of the Finest hopes to do through continued fundraising and awareness.
