About Us

Hi there and welcome to the Crosby Show! I am Carmen, wife to Lance, momma to Crosby, and the author of this blog. We live in Arkansas with our two dogs, Lucy and Zoe. 

I started this blog after our son was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 15 days old. I wanted a way to tell our story without having to repeat myself over and over on the phone and in texts. I also wanted to keep family and friends up-to-date on what was going on as we navigated the waters of a new diagnosis.

I primarily write about Crosby's CF, but as the writing has proved cathartic, sometimes I write about things personal to me, almost like a journal. I also sometimes write about CF generally and we use this blog as a fundraising directive for the CF Foundation.We are passionate about finding a cure!

I'm an ordinary girl, in her 30s, a working mom, and I don't use the best grammar. But I think that everyone, no matter who they are, has a story to tell. And I have chosen to tell our story on here, to educate about CF and with the hope that it might be beneficial to others who come down this road.

I hope that I am also honoring Him in sharing our story. Our life. Our world.
